LDC Logistics consolidates ownership in Metro Supply Chain Group

LDC Logistics committed to driving continued global growth at MSCG

Montreal, Quebec; February 2, 2017 – LDC Logistics Holdings (LDC Logistics), a diversified holding company, and Metro Supply Chain Group (Metro SCG), a leading Third Party Logistics Services provider (3PL) in North America and Europe, announced today that LDC Logistics has acquired the remaining shares of Metro SCG it did not already own from NOVACAP, one of Canada’s leading private equity firms. With the close of the transaction on January 31, 2017, LDC Logistics becomes the sole shareholder of Metro SCG. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

KDC announces the acquisition of Thibiant International, Inc.

Thibiant has 285 full-time employees in modern facilities extending over 330,000 square feet.

NOVACAP Announces Sale of Idaho Pacific to Arlon Group

Montreal, July 6, 2016 – NOVACAP, a Canadian leader in private equity, announced today that they have sold Idaho Pacific, a company specializing in dehydrated potato products (“IPH”) to Arlon Group (“Arlon”), a food and agriculture investment firm with a global network that supports investments across the entire food supply chain in the Americas. IPH has been a portfolio company of the NOVACAP Industries III fund since May 2011.

Montréal, February 11, 2016 – NOVACAP, a Canadian leader in private equity, and Developpement EDB Inc. today announced that they have reached an agreement to sell Enviro-Viridis Inc., a company specializing in waste management that offers vertically integrated services, and its subsidiary corporations (“CDEV”) to GFL Environmental Inc., a diversified environmental services company providing a full range of environmental services nationwide. CDEV is a portfolio company of the NOVACAP Industries III fund and the transaction is scheduled to close on March 1, 2016, subject to customary closing conditions.

Kolmar is a New-York-based custom formulator and manufacturer of color cosmetics, personal care and skincare products, offering Product Development, R&D Innovation, QA/QC services, Regulatory services and manufacturing solutions for beauty and skin care brands. Kolmar Laboratories and Acupac Packaging together employ 500 full-time employees in state-of-the-art facilities totalling over 340,000 feet.

NOVACAP announces the acquisition of Hallcon Corporation

MONTRÉAL, August 4, 2015 – NOVACAP, a Canadian leader in private equity, today announced the acquisition of Hallcon Corporation, a leading provider of specialty outsourced services to the railway and transit sectors in North America, based in Toronto. The transaction is carried out through its NOVACAP Industries IV Fund, in partnership with Hallcon’s management team, Export Development Canada (EDC), BMO Capital Partners and other institutional partners. Hallcon’s senior management team will continue in their current roles with the company.
