KDC announces the acquisition of the Kolmar Labs Group, a new foray into the Color Cosmetics and Specialty Delivery categories

Montréal, October 14, 2015KDC (The Knowlton Development Corporation), a leading contract manufacturer of health and beauty-care products headquartered in Longueuil, Québec, today announced the acquisition of the Kolmar Labs Group companies: Kolmar Laboratories Inc. and Acupac Packaging Inc. Kolmar is a New-York-based custom formulator and manufacturer of color cosmetics, personal care and skincare products, offering Product Development, R&D Innovation, QA/QC services, Regulatory services and manufacturing solutions for beauty and skin care brands. Kolmar Laboratories and Acupac Packaging together employ 500 full-time employees in state-of-the-art facilities totalling over 340,000 feet.



NOVACAP announces the acquisition of Hallcon Corporation

MONTRÉAL, August 4, 2015 – NOVACAP, a Canadian leader in private equity, today announced the acquisition of Hallcon Corporation, a leading provider of specialty outsourced services to the railway and transit sectors in North America, based in Toronto. The transaction is carried out through its NOVACAP Industries IV Fund, in partnership with Hallcon’s management team, Export Development Canada (EDC), BMO Capital Partners and other institutional partners. Hallcon’s senior management team will continue in their current roles with the company.






Oxford Networks and BayRing Communications Announce Strategic Growth Plan Oxford Networks and BayRing Communications to Merge

Portsmouth, New Hampshire, Lewiston, Maine - Oxford Networks and BayRing Communications announced today that the two companies have agreed to merge. The combined entity will be the largest competitive telecommunications provider headquartered in Northern New England. The new organization will operate approximately 2,000 route miles of high-capacity fiber optic network providing access to nearly 50,000 commercial buildings, four robust SOC 2 (Service Organization Control) data centers, and direct access to all other major hub data centers throughout Maine, New Hampshire and Massachusetts.  The merger provides an outstanding strategic fit as Oxford has a solid footprint in Maine, while BayRing has a strong market presence in Southern Maine, New Hampshire and Massachusetts.


Stingray Digital Group Inc. Completes $140 Million Initial Public Offering

Montreal, June 3 2015 - Stingray Digital Group Inc. ("Stingray") announced today that it has successfully completed an initial public offering (the "Offering") of an aggregate of 22,400,000 subordinate voting shares and variable subordinate voting shares of Stingray (collectively, the “Offered Shares”) at a price of $6.25 per share, for total gross proceeds of $140 million. The subordinate voting shares and variable subordinate voting shares will begin trading today on the Toronto Stock Exchange under the symbols “RAY.A” and “RAY.B”, respectively.
