Summary of responsibilities

Treasury

• Preparation of deposits and reconciliation with the accounting system and statement of account.
• Preparation of transfers, checks and journal entries with the bank.
• Management of daily cash flow.
• Preparation and review of variance analyses.

Accounting

• Monitoring of accounts payable, receivable and other balance sheet items.
• Validate inter-company account balancing.
• Validate and recharge expenses.
• Bookkeeping: preparation of month-end accounting entries, accruals, monitoring of inter-company transactions, etc.
• Preparation and review of variance analyses.
• Preparation of financial statements
• Preparation of presentations and other reports for internal and external use
• All other related tasks.
• Taxation
• Preparation of sales tax rebates (GST/QST)

Others

• All other related accounting tasks

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience
• Technical in accounting, finance, administration.
• Bilingualism, French and English, required
• Experience in a professional services firm is an asset
• Excellent knowledge of Excel, required
• Active accounting designation a plus.
